SOPA/PIPA Mass Protest Day

Nobody ever accused me of being that tech-savvy, and since I’m apparently bad at teh intarwebs, I could not figure out how to get the plug-in installed that would have allowed this site to be blacked out today for the mass SOPA/PIPA protest.

Rest assured, I am against this trash heap of a bill, and adamantly opposed to the speech-killing ramifications.  So rather than blacking out my site, I invite you watch a short video on this proposed law to educate yourself on it if you so desire.

As it happens, this terrible bill is a great example of government overreach leading to unintended consequences that are far worse than the supposed wrong being addressed. It is an archetype of what I mean by “the solution is the problem.”
